The amount of gratitude and appreciation I have for this mare is immeasurable.
Val and I ventured to our first horse show of the season, and our first time doing a full 2’6 Jumpers division. Our plan was to work on balance, rhythm, relaxation, and to keep the pieces together more than not around our courses.
We managed to do just that and then some. ♥️
I can’t say this with enough emphasis. I cannot be more proud of this girl. We took most of the winter off because I feel that a relax and reset is equally as important (if not more) to training and progressing.
Slowly getting back into the swing of things and I couldn’t be happier. We hung out, we jumped jumps, we took time for grass and body scratches, and we made sure to give allll the cookies.
It was a big division and our clear and consistent rides ended up giving us good ribbons and a very unexpected Champion of the division.
