my tingling skin
goosebumps crawl
the tickling sensation
of buzzing bees
pulsing in waves
upon my flesh
shot like bullets
straight to the brain
whirlpools of thought
swimming in my head
flooding throughout
sensory overload
my mind is exploding
in hyper emotion
it overheats
burning beneath
an overrunning urge
to feed the need
desirous pangs
of nervous anticipation
indulgence to meet
with ravenous connection
expected completion
impatience takes hold
permeating angst
wreaking amongst me
this unstoppable push
towards the inevitable
