It's time for my latest illustration! This piece was fun to do, I always enjoy making characters out of things, especially things that exist in nature. I also love making horror/ macabre based characters that look incredibly happy being the way that they are. And, I would certainly say these two Venus Fly Traps I turned into creatures look like very happy characters indeed. So I present to you: "Carnivore"
There are a number of carnivorous plants that exist on our planet. The most well known is the Venus Fly Trap. There are Sundews, Trumpet Pitchers, Drosera Capensis, California Pitcher Plant and a number of others. The characters in this piece are developed from the carnivorous plants listed. The two stars of this piece are developed from Venus Fly Traps. They are quit deadly to more than just bugs and they are very happy acting as predators to their prey.
