Got back to the gym tonight! Upper body day was pretty good. Started on the elliptical with a pretty good mile time. However when I got to lifting, I didn't have as much oomph compared to usual. I think that's just because of it being that "time of the month". But, I still killed it even though I couldn't do as much I just kept going and didn't give up. Since everyone is doing the 10 years challenge, I decided to only take it back five years bc ten years ago I was literally 11 and I looked like a baby . I chose a pic from the hardest time in my life. A time when I was bingeing, starving myself, and working out incredibly inconsistently while trying to deal with a couple of really tragic incidents which left me v scarred. My mental health game over the past few years has been an absolute roller coaster but with the help of dedicating myself to my fitness journey, I have made leaps and bounds in the right direction both mentally and physically. .
