Hmm... probably not!​​​​​​​​​ Let's talk consistency with your marketing using a many-pronged approach to achieve the results you want. Due to the fact that marketing is constantly changing with the progression of the technology and with peoples resistance growing stronger, essentially fighting against your marketing, the process is becoming more of a social conversation to our ideal client than it is about direct selling. You don't want to be sell sell selling to your client on social media or in the salon but you also need to make sure there is a strong sales strategy connected with your conversational marketing as well. Combining a conversational marketing and direct response approach means that you need to be SUPER consistent. That includes social media - Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, any of these social platforms, as well as in-salon marketing E.G front window, brochures, business cards, A-frames etc. Plus community connections.. how are you showing up in your community, do you have B2B referral partners in your area, and are you staying consistent with those connections? If you're not staying consistent with B2B referral marketing then you're not going to have the success you want! It's important to show up as a professional with a clear strategy. Master Your Mindset > Unlock What's Possible​​​​​​​​​ The topic of 'mindset' is so HOT right now.. everyone's talking about money mindset & success mindset - it can feel a bit complicated & overwhelming when we are thrown so much information. The thing is, mastering your mind is actually very simple once you understand how YOUR mind works. A strong mindset is all about KNOWING your current limitations/limiting beliefs, and learning how to navigate through daily obstacles in order to stay on track to your goals. It's all about understanding how YOUR mind works, what YOUR mental blocks are & what trauma's you're holding onto from childhood. What are some limiting statements you catch yourself saying/thinking regularly? Do they sound something like this... "I could never earn _____ each month" "Why would that business want to work with me?" "I'm not good enough" "It's hard for me to earn more money" When we're sitting in our limiting beliefs/a low-vibrational energy and we don't have a strong support system around us saying "hey, you can absolutely go further than that!" we subconsciously put a ceiling on what we believe we can achieve & end up selling ourselves short. If this is resonating with you right now, I HIGHLY encourage you to sit down & write down a goal that SCARES you. What is that HUGE & almost unattainable goal that you have (I know you've thought about it!) ? Staying Consistent On Social Media ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ I'm sure you know by now that staying consistent with your social media posts/stories and email marketing is important, but if you're anything like the rest of us, it can feel like a full time job in itself.. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ So, the easiest way that you can stay consistent with your social media posts is to spend a few hours each month (or every 2-3 months) batching & automating your content for those following months, ensuring it runs smoothly in the background behind the scenes without you having to lift a finger each day.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ As for stories, I encourage you to take the organic approach and get into the habit of uploading a few stories sharing what you're doing each day LIVE - this can be uncomfortable at first, however I promise you that the more you do it, the easier & more exciting it will feel!​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Not only do you need to show up consistently, but you also need to show up in VOLUME, meaning there's enough content for your audience to latch onto.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ These strategies will help you to keep your audience in the loop as to what's happening in your day to day life & salon, meaning that not only will your viewers/potential clients become interested in your story & who you are, but it will form a sense of connection to you and your business, increasing the likelihood of them booking for an appointment. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Now when it comes to building momentum within your community, what I encourage you to do is to get out there ​​​​​​​​ & start building connections & relationships with other businesses in your area who are also serving your ideal client, ALL WHILE having the right posture to promote yourself + your business. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ MORE IN COMMENTS

The absolute BEST thing you can do when it comes to your marketing, client attraction & growth is to move into MOMENTUM.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Building momentum is the most effective way for you to fast tract new eyes, conversations, conversions & lifelong clients. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ This is a whole lot easier than trying to do the slow build because momentum has it's own legs - meaning the work you're doing will start to gain traction & roll out through your community & social media networks, which in turn makes your life a whole lot easier..​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ So, how do you get into momentum?​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Firstly, it's impossible to build momentum if you're only posing twice a week & sending out 1 email a month - you just cannot build momentum from there!​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ What I encourage you to do as soon as possible is get your head in the game by getting SUPER focused & carving out time to do the tasks you need to do in order to actually get yourself into momentum. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ If you want to build fast, my advice would be to build ORGANIC momentum, instead of investing in 'paid marketing', because this strategy will help you create an energy of attraction and will help you manifest your desired outcome. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ This means uploading FB & IG stories DAILY, posting & sending out consistent social media posts & emails that add true VALUE, which will help you gain trust with your audience / potential clients. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Has this been helpful?

The truth is, our limiting beliefs are merely stories we've made up in our minds due to past experiences (usually from childhood) that made us feel not good enough in the moment, and we've subconsciously taken that on as truth. Examples of limiting beliefs/thoughts: "I'm not creative enough to pull that off" "I'm not clever or resourceful, I always need someone to show me" "I'm not tech-savvy" "I don't deserve success" "Success happens to others, but not for me, that's just the way it is" If you catch yourself thinking these thoughts, it might be time for some mindset rewiring. On Friday we discussed the importance of knowing who your ideal client is (check my last post if you missed it), so today I'd like to share some KEY Q'S to journal on, to figure out WHO you want to serve. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Grab a pen & paper & get ready to jot these down. Be sure to brainstorm deeply on each of these questions before answering!​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ ✅ How often does she come in? ​​​​​​​​ ✅ Does she rebook there wit you on the day of does she book online?​​​​​​​​ ✅ What are her goals?​​​​​​​​ ✅ What does her family unit look like?​​​​​​​​ ✅ Is she single with plenty of disposable income, or does she have a husband/children?​​​​​​​​ ✅ Does she always look presentable?​​​​​​​​ ✅ Does she keep to herself?​​​​​​​​ ✅ What kind of job does she have? Delete or Archive as soon as you read!​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ ✔️ Up in the Cloud - Upload online files to Dropbox or Google Drive instead of draining your space​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ ✔️ Blame it on the Notifications - Distraction is caused by alerts popping up on our screens. Set time aside to check your socials, emails, messages & calls each day - all other times, turn OFF those notifications!​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ ✔️ Throw away the TRASH - Empty the trash every week to free up more space​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Helpful? I always love hearing people's business stories, so I thought I'd drop in today and share a little snippet of mine with you.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ I opened my massage and beauty salon when I was 19 years old - before opening I'd spent 5 months reading every business book I could find, including 'Small Business for Dummies', googling starting a salon, opening a business and marketing ideas plus writing the most detailed business plan I could...​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Including financial projections HAHAHAHAHA, didn't they turn out to be the most ridiculous joke ever!!!​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ I rented a beautiful little commercial space on the main street of my small town, completed the fit out and threw an opening party - to which I think most people attended just for the free booze or because they were my immediate family.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ I didn't care though, I thought it was a raging success!​​​​​​​​ I made my first gift voucher sale that night and got the photo of the first $50 note going into my cash draw, it was all VERY exciting!​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Then came the first few months in business, when I started to get the impression the saying "Build it and they will come" was a total load of BS...​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ The days lingered on, I'd often check to make sure the phone was still connected, or go out and move my A-frame sign around to ensure it was visible to passing by traffic.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ I'd sit at the front desk, listening to the salon relaxation music and try to catch the eye of anyone who walked past the window, willing them to come in.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ After a while, I realised that sitting and hoping wasn't getting me anywhere at all, thinking back, I wonder how the heck I covered my rent.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ (To read the rest, head over to our FB group - link in bio)

Owning a business is hard!​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ There are so many times when you find yourself facing off with your own demons, you find blocks that you never would have found without the stretch of entrepreneurship.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Of course there are challenges with the technical side of things - like getting new clients, learning about taxes and book keeping, managing your time and the list goes on, but what I have personally found most difficult and what I also notice in my clients is the emotional and mental growth that is required to succeed – or even move in the right direction.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Often we know what we need to do and how it needs to be done, but finding the trust, confidence and motivation to actually go out there and do it is another thing entirely!​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Sometimes we’re afraid to do things because of bad past experiences we’ve personally faced, other times it’s because of a story we have running in our heads passed down from our parents or grandparents, then there are subliminal blocks that we don’t even know are there, yet they manage to consistently sabotage us.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ After 12 years of entrepreneurship & self-employment I still run into all of these things on a DAILY basis – it’s that old saying – “New Level, New Devil” – although to be totally honest, I face off with the same devil all the time – I’m starting to wonder if the old ones go away or if you just end up with a whole gang of devils who you’ve built quality banter with… Hahaha time will tell!​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Anyway, I wanted to write this for anyone out there feeling like they are alone in their emotional struggles in their business – I’m here to let you know, you are NOT alone, we ALL face off with pain, resentment, fear, guilt, shame, unworthiness, exhaustion, blocks, negative patterns, glass ceilings – the list goes on.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ CONTINUE IN COMMENTS

One Marketing Strategy is NOT Enough​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Let’s talk consistency with your marketing and using a many-pronged approach to achieve the results that you want.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ Due to the fact that marketing is constantly changing with the progression of the technology and with peoples resistance growing stronger and stronger, essentially fighting against the marketing that you’re releasing, the marketing process is becoming more of a social conversation to our ideal client than it is about direct selling.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ Obviously there are great ways to connect immediate response or direct response marketing with your conversational marketing but it’s important that you do have a really nice balance between the two. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ You don’t want to be sell sell selling to your client on social media or in the salon but you also need to make sure there is a strong sales strategy connected with your conversational marketing so that you are achieving results and you’re not just chit-chatting without making any money. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ Combining a conversational marketing and direct response approach means that you need to be really really consistent. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ That includes social media – Facebook, Instagram, YouTube any of those social platforms, as well as in-salon marketing E.G front window, brochures, business cards, A-frames etc.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ Plus connections with the community; how are you showing up in your community, do you have B2B referral partners in your area, how have you created that connection and are you staying consistent with it? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀​​​​​​​​ If you're not staying consistent with B2B referral marketing then you're not going to have the success you need, it’s important to show up as a professional, with a clear strategy for now and the future.⠀​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ CONTINUE IN COMMENTS

Finding balance in life can be a tricky act. Believe me, I know.
