Talk of the town? A cool Asian-themed food hall with multiple food vendors serving traditional Asian street food and beverages! We arrived Superfresh TO this past Sat around 5:30pm luckily we got a table right away but the host told us no more table seating and was going to seat us at one of the vendor’s booth while there are tables in the dining area available. There is no reservation only walk ins as shown on their website so we don’t get it why the host don’t let us sit at a table but end it up we asked one of the server and he brought us to a table. We did not bother asking why but for sure the host chooses who and seat them where she likes? Anyway, the food was ok alright but not authentic as I expected as an Asian myself I know what’s good and what’s not up to par. We ordered Indonesian Gado Gado (pic 1), Taiwanese fried chicken (pic 2) and Indonesian fried noodles (pic 3). It was not a cheap eat like street food price you get in Asia hawker stall but I guess you are paying for the ‘feel’ to eat there. 😆 They offer a touch-less menu so you could place the order through their online system but noted a service fee for each online order so decide all your orders and place it in one shot to avoid being charged for multiple service fees. There were about 15-20 people lining up when we left around 7, expected to wait in line during the peak hours.
Loving this earthy, full body sake from Siga! They pickled their ginger (niagara ginger farm) in house, very rich fresh ginger taste! Surprisingly good omakase @sushi_nishinokaze thank you chef Gee @thebarbariansausage
