🍪🛍️Visiting Disney Springs while you’re in town? Follow your nose to Gideon’s Bakehouse!🛍️🍪 🍪 No, it’s not just your imagination, they actually pump cookie smells into the air. Peek the second picture to see the scent coming out of the vent above the door! 🍪Each cookie is almost a 1/2 pound!! All cookies are baked on site. 🧑‍🍳 Limit 6 per customer! 🍪There’s a new flavor each month. June is Sea Turtle 🐢Cookie and it was my absolute favorite!! Homemade caramel, premium chocolate, and candied pecans, sprinkled with sea salt! 🤤🤤 🍪They are also known for their huge cake slices! 3 layers to be exact! 🍪Don’t forget to try a Peanut Butter cold brew coffee to cool off!! Sam and I had a fun, although very hot and muggy, morning at Disney Springs. We got to Gideon’s Bakehouse first thing and were in line by 9:15. I was able to snag a reusable insulated tote (very handy for carrying all the wonderful baked goods Gideon’s has to offer 😉🛍️), the Limited Time Salted Caramel Cold Brew, Peanut Butter & Jelly Cake, a Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookie, a Limited Edition Sea Turtle Cookie (the cookie of the month that benefits the sea turtles conservation fund) 🐢❤️, and a cool sticker featuring Reginald, the sea turtle , which is original artwork created by the incomparable @mr.eyes.art! I must say, this month’s artwork may be my favorite to date and I was bummed that the prints were all sold out. Yesterday I had to go try some of the new offerings from Gideon’s that just started that morning for the ‘Taste of Florida’ event happening at Disney Springs. The first on the list was the orange mocha nitro cold brew. Delicious (though the peanut butter is still my fav)! Followed by the key lime and coconut caramel chocolate chip cookies. Craig and I had a lot of fun at the Gideon’s Bakehouse Flavors of Florida talk yesterday. I was able to register on Wednesday (by some miracle) and we got the very cool Stuart Valencia signed print from the founder/owner Steve Lewis. Today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! So let’s talk about my favorite place to grab one, Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs! Gideon’s is so delicious, the best cookies ever, & I’m not even a big cookie lover. The cookies are almost 1/2 a pound, so definitely shareable. Is Gideon’s Bakehouse worth the hype!? Gideon's Bakehouse is a bakery known for its decadent and oversized cookies. Founded in Orlando, it gained popularity for its unique flavors and hefty portions. The bakery often features creative combinations and limited-edition offerings. I visited the Gideon’s at Disney Springs. At peak times, this Gideon’s often implements a virtual queue, but my visit coincided with a traditional standby line. I joined the line with much anticipation and after about 15 minutes I was inside…and I have to say it did not disappoint! The bakery’s distinctive ambiance and thematic elements added to its allure. But let’s address the ultimate question: Do the cookies live up to the hype? Putting my taste buds to the test (for purely scientific reasons, of course), I ordered a variety of cookies, and I must confess, I LOVED them!
