Hello, Monday! #mosaicsonmonday is hosted by the amazing @johnbtoys @virginia_bricks and @brick_beat For this weeks mosaic, I tried my hand at a monochrome piece for @brickhuntress #letsbuildseries #letsbuildmonochrome This is harder than I thought it would be. I definitely like this piece in person more than in photos. I will have to practice this more. This little graveyard micro-build that comes in the Lego Halloween Ideas book is such a fun way to jump into the Halloween season. There are also a lot of fun ideas and tips to get you started on your Halloween builds. As a mom, I love how kid friendly this book is, even the toddler was flipping through it yesterday. Lego Creator 3 in 1, 31115 Space Mining Mech ages 7+ $24.99 total piece count 327 I love 3 in 1 builds! They are great because it gives options . Everyone loves having options!Once you are done you are able to disassemble the set and build the next one, if you choose. For this build, I started off with the 2 legged robot; when completed, it looked a little strange was able to pose it and move the legs around. The second build was a 4 legged cargo carrier, this one was my favorite build, a bit silly and cute. It has a little alien working hard to get collect crystals. Finally the third and main build is the mining mech. As usual, you use all the pieces, it’s very well put together and also has posable with legs and arms. One thing I loved was the spinning saw used to dig / cut the green crystals. It gets your imaginative creative juices flowing.
