These are the lightest colors we've seen Gina show us, but still one of our favorites! We guess this is due to being on a newly rooted plant and being grown under shade cloth in our greenhouse. Typically, Gina has a much darker color- burgundy, red, or deep pink. Her 3-4" flowers whose petals' curled edges range from white to cream to even orange and create a contrast that makes this flower very unique. The flowers are also quite thick with great keeping qualities and a great medium spicey scent too! 2nd photo shows what to expect in full sun. Beautiful medium/ semi compact growth habit with thick beefy branches. We've found them to root readily and quickly-a plumeria lovers dream- exotic yet easy to grow, just an absolute allstar! The rain came (again) but not before we got a whole slew of young rooted cuttings we've been coddling in our cozy shaded greenhouse outside and potted in proper mix! Though these rooted cuttings are healthy and ready to graduate, they are not established enough to meet our standards for sale. After initial rooting out of the elements in our greenhouse for 8 weeks or so, we transfer them from their inert propagation media to a 1 gallon pot with our custom well draining potting mix, feed them, love them for another month or two, and allow for a full fist size root ball to develop prior to being offered for sale- This way we can ensure the plant has the best possible chances to thrive so our customers are successful. Good things take time, and some of what we are growing demands it. We are in love with this NOID sold to us as a Plumeria Alba a couple years back... definitely not an Alba! This one has some of the largest leaves we've ever had and these pale pink flowers have a great color, though neither of these qualities are native to an Alba who should have classic white flowers and very narrow leaves. Angelica, AKA Guillot Sunset going live later this week! 🥳 We acquired a shipment of these blindly a few months back and weren't sure what to expect as it was a new variety for us, but we are in love now that we've seen it in action! A very old variety dating back more than 60 years first grown by the legendary Bud Guillot.
