@studioinekevanderwerff About time I show you a little about my NEW COLLECTION! โจOver minder dan 3 weken is mijn nieuwe werk te aanschouwen op @objectrotterdam. Hoogste tijd dus om er wat meer van te laten zien! De nieuwe collectie komt voort uit mijn STUCCO onderzoek uit 2022. Toen heb ik voornamelijk decoratief werk gemaakt maar ik zou geen product ontwerper zijn als ik er niet ook iets functioneels mee zou maken. Borden, kommen en schalen gemaakt van gerecycled porselein. De klei is een mix van alle kleuren die tijdens mijn workshops worden gebruikt. De snijresten van het gietproces gaan door elkaar en vormen altijd een soort grijs. De exacte samenstelling is altijd anders en zorgt voor lichte nuance verschillen. De textuur van de objecten komt voort uit de manier waarop de klei in de mal is aangebracht, geiฬnspireerd door stuc technieken.

@red.sqr Raw clay tower - unfinished Making toys for grownups with a specific taste and style ๐ simple, minimal and architectural Reviewing freshly made clay blocks - that will be a base for ceramic white towers I shared some progress when I started making those. Decided to add narrow arches on the other side too, and I love the result, those corners make a perfect corner house.
