FPI Project present Rich In Paradise - Going Back To My Roots (Rumour, 1989) I've always liked Italo house, even before I knew what it was. Whether it was seeing the videos on the ITV Chart Show or a bunch of blokes pretending to play keyboards on Top Of The Pops, there was something about big uplifting piano riffs over a dance beat that really appealed to me, even from a young age. This is one such tune - I still remember watching FPI Project on Top Of The Pops while my dad loudly bemoaned the fact it was 'just the same few notes on a piano over and over again while someone shouts 'woo, yeah' over the top'... which was precisely why I liked it, of course.
