Follow the road less traveled. I was originally drawn to typical campsites where reservations are required and you are within earshot of your neighbors. Recently, we started looking for dispersed campsites which are on a first come first serve basis and more remote style camping. Not to mention, we normally can’t see a soul in sight and are able to truly disconnect from the world.

Getting out in nature has truly opened my eyes to experiencing nature’s beautiful landscapes! Exploration and discovery are an important part of life, so get out there and find your adventure.

📍Sequoia National Forest
We stayed at Upper Peppermint Creek Campsite. Dog friendly, no fees, no facilities (make sure to check with the Ranger Station in Kernville in case this changes).
