(Gifted 🎁) In the afternoon we did the Into The Thick experience. A guide takes you underground & shows how miners risked their lives for coal. When we first went down, we were given the chance to back out. Despite being uncomfortable, no one else left & I stayed - I didn’t want to be the only one. It’s not for people who find small spaces & darkness difficult. I wouldn’t do it again, but it’s part of the ticket price & I’m glad I did it!
