#scrollstoppinghome Week 3 – Let’s get real! T.V.’s, toilets & bad angles you love but fear to show! Believe it or not, this is one of those shots despite SANS TOILET b/c the dark splotch on the left behind the column is an 800-pound Browning ProSteel safe which previously sat in our den but recently was relocated here to Mike’s office. It’s actually a beautiful safe, all black & glossy w/ blingy gold accents, but it serves no decorative purpose other than providing a flat surface for me to fling books & the occasional oddball chachka. And it’s a behemoth. Basically we’re just happy it doesn’t fall thru the floor. In this shot we also have His Lordship Bees King of the Upper Midwest & Flying Right Ear lounging on The Throne which Mike & I found @ an antique mall in Old Towne Orange & then had repainted & reupholstered to its current state of ABSOLUTE ASININE FANCY. It previously sat in my office in Costa Mesa back when I was an armchair warrior & fer sure is too big for its current location but that’s why I like it here. Moving on, the art on the floor hiding a ginormous & tangled cord cluster is a photo taken by my mom (very gifted photographer btw) of a positively regal Pegasus sculpture which she shot @ Jack Palance’s ranch in Tehachapi. The sculpture, which I believe has since been sold & moved, is by the v talented artist & filmmaker Sean Guerrero & is fashioned from welded chrome bumpers salvaged off old cars. Me thinks it’s fabulous to the 10th power & I wish it was mine. Swipey for close ups. That is all. Happy Thursday lovely people! 🖤🖤🖤🐝🐝🐝
