I took these photos yesterday afternoon whilst I was on set in Oxford. I have been here before but never had the time to appreciate all the amazing architecture here. We ended up by a door (one of the pictures) which seemed rather normal to me but as I saw tour guides stopping and doing their job, I learned that C S Lewis, writer of the Chronicles of Narnia, got inspired by the iconography around him as he was studying in Oxford. In fact, the lion engraved on this door was his inspiration for Aslan!
