This is how I friday! 😘 Dhyaarosh bhaja🍃 is one of the most sought after dishes in Bengal and my lunch table seems incomplete without it. I love showcasing easy recipes on my feed and today its Bhindi's🍀 turn to manifest itself into the form of "Okra fry". How cool is that? 😍
Your frying pan needs to be placed on medium flame with two tablespoons of oil added into it. Once it turns out to be hot, add two tablespoons of green chilli and cumin seeds. The happiness of crackling seeds is eternal but do not forget to add fenugreek seeds and grated ginger into it. The mixture needs to be sauteéd for a minute or two. ❤

Add lady's finger/okra, turmeric powder and most importantly salt. Mix it really well. It is adviced to cover and then cook for four to five minutes. Make sure it doesn't form a thick paste, as you are frying the okra. After seeing the desirable amount of change in its form, open the veil and sauteé it for 5 more minutes. Voila! Your "Dhyaarosh bhaja"🌳 is ready to be served. 😍

Can you hear the commotion taking place in our kitchen? Haha. That's the way we all remind each other to prepare Dal, rice and other stuff. It is always a teamwork. 😘

Keep following me on Instagram at @foodicted.fellow for more updates. 📲
