I very nearly didn't post this photo. For someone who works in the media I didn't think I could be a victim to it but goes to show anyone can be whether you realise it or not.
I didn't want to post the photo as all I could see was me and all the elements that haven't conformed to "snapping back" like I'm led to believe I should have done. Working long hours, running a business, running a home and looking after a toddler mean my fitness and nutrition aren't top of the to do list.
But then I looked at the photo again and actually saw it for what it was, the moment in time it was taken. My little girl beaming after living her best life going repeatedly down a slide that was too big for her (hence me on it) and me over the moon that she was so happy.
Lesson learnt. Just live for the moment and grab it.
