Tonight's Pork-ilicious Dinner: 1) Dong Po Rou/Dong Po Pork (Braised Pork Belly).🐷 The Star Dish🌟 for Tonight's Dinner. One of my Treasured Recipes, the last time I cooked this was definitely ages ago during Chinese New Year Reunion. This Sinfully Thick Slab of Luscious Pork Belly🍖 had been braised in an Aromatic Master Stock for 2 hours & then transferred to a Steamer for the last hour. As a Result, the Pork🥩 is Sublimely Tender that it practically melts in your Mouth & can easily be cut by a Mere Prod of a Spoon. 😋The Mother Sauce is delicious with the Fragrance from the Shaoxing Wine & it has the right balance of Savouriness & Sweetness from the Soy Sauces & Rock Sugar. The Recipe is actually very easy to follow but you must have Patience. I served mine with Mantou/Steamed Chinese Buns🍞🥐 which in my opinion is the Perfect Accompaniment to our Delicious Pork Belly🐖. 2) Braised Egg Tofu🥚 with Minced Pork🐷 & Enoki Mushrooms🍄. A Simple, Homely Dish that spells Comfort Food. I added in some Abalone Sauce to the Gravy which made it taste a extra Special as compared to your Average Minced Pork 🐷Tofu🥚 Dish. 3) Stir Fried Nai Bai with Garlic🥬.
