One of my projects this summer is working on a section of the garden at the high school where I teach — so far, so good. Despite temperature fluctuations, with the help of my kids, we’ve been able to grow squash, watermelon, peppermint and tomato. At home, we’re also growing green peppers (not pictured.) Here’s hoping they survive the next two weeks, beginning today with the heat wave (gave the soil a good soak this morning.) #Garden
