Saturday mornings are made for this 🌞<br /><br />#Repost @hannah.gamble.higgins<br />・・・<br />best brunch in denton, tx //<br />.<br />barley + board (brunch menu available 10am-2pm on saturdays and sundays)<br />.<br />we kicked off our meal with a couple of herbed biscuits accompanied by maple butter and orange marmalade. deliciously dense, each biscuit was a perfect savory shovel for butter and jam. 🍊<br />.<br />next up, the mimosa flight. enjoy 4 different house-made syrups + a bottle of champagne for just $20. we suggest the fresh-squeezed orange, raspberry, blood orange, and strawberry. 🥂<br />.<br />try the b+b brekkie platter for a traditional English breakfast (Jonathan’s choice, pictured above) or the biscuits and cajun gravy with cheddar cheese eggs (my choice, pictured below). 🥓<br />.<br />dare ya to clean your plate in one sitting! with full bellies, we took a little bit of everything home for breakfast tomorrow. (I’ll be dreaming about it til then.) 😴<br />.<br />the wait staff at barley and board may be the best in town. when budgeting for a trip to B+B, plan to tip your waiters well. they deserve it. 👌🏻 (shoutout to comm design major Andrew for such a great experience. from one former UNT art student to another...hang in there, brother!)<br />.<br />when we brunch, we save our pennies and do it right. our first sunday at barley & board did not disappoint. we’ll be back. 🍳
