I’ve begun documenting in which states I’ve achieved three particular goals: Drink good coffee, attend a professional baseball game (any level) and ride a bike (making the distinction between road/gravel and off-road/MTB, with priority on the latter). Today I took advantage of being within eyesight of Nebraska and went for the one-day sweep of the The Cornhusker State. Coffee goal achieved at @archetypecoffee (Little Bohemia location), baseball goal achieved at Werner Park to see Royals AAA-affiliate @omahastormchasers take on the @memphisredbirds. Unfortunately the trails at Tranquility Park were a little too wet to complete the one-day sweep (gotta respect the local trails). I’ll check back tomorrow morning to see if they’ve dried out before I have to meet #RAGBRAI in whatever Iowa town they’ll be in tomorrow night.
