Being authentically in appreciation of myself was something that WASN’T easy or natural for me. Allowing myself to see my own worth and my own value  was alien. -<br />I was taught at a young age to NOT be too proud of myself because that’s boastful and “I’m not better than anyone else”.<br />-<br />That was the type of messaging I was raised in. To be humble. To not talk about my accomplishments. To not think too much about myself.<br />-<br />And so I never did. And that also carried forward to my body. How I felt about my outside as well as my insides.<br />-<br />I never learned my value. I never saw it or was told I had any either. So I had to find it for myself. And that was hard. -<br />THE hardest thing I had to do because it was against my original programming. But once I discovered that KNOWING my worth had zero to do with anyone else’s...it was freeing. -<br />My LOVE of myself doesn’t take away anything from anyone else. It doesn’t make anyone feel bad or inferior unless THEY let it. It has nothing to do with me.<br />-<br />And so, I learned to ALLOW myself to feel amazing about myself. About what I’ve accomplished. About my body AS IT IS! And I could NOT be happier!<br />-<br />And you can too. You just have to allow it! ❤️
