The Sip n Stroke event was sick!! Just being there painting and having the DJ bless is with the tunes was truly therapeutic.
I've been looking for a spot that's different from the standard. And this is definitely one of those places. You dont have to be an expert to come and take part in the vibesss, it's all good.
None of that standard mainstream music that djs be using throughout the club scene.(if you know, you know). None of that awkward energy where people show up to party but dont wanna truly be themselves. Like its dope. Point blank.
Defo going back, defo bringing those that wanna roll to roll thru.
I already had it in my head what I was gonna paint before I pulled up. Btw ain't picked up a paint brush since the last time you saw a paint post from me.
Remember how kanye, went through that 808 n heartbreak phase in his music. Yhhh I think that's where I'm at creatively..obvs in my own different way.
But honestly things had to be this way. Theres certain things I wouldn't have been able to bring to life, if I hadn't gone through those experiences.
So In the end it's all supposed to bring you closer to who you are... What is your nature?
Do you have purpose?
Did the idea of this painting come from the past or the future?
Maybe I already know the answer to that question.
