My son captured one of my most favorite times of the day. The 6:00 phone conversation with my father. I usually end up in Luke’s old chair.. (now Yoda’s sleeping spot) feel the sun on my back while listening to the resonance and timbre of my father’s voice. Time stops while we chat about “ trivial” things ... the weather, what he ate for lunch, sports and it meanders sometimes to his childhood and youth ....stories he seems to want to relive in his heart.
