On July 20, 1969 Apollo 11 and crew, Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins, and Neil Armstrong, made its amazing voyage to land on the moon. The @airandspacemuseum put on an amazing show on the Washington Monument to commemorate the 50 year anniversary. I was able to get a great spot to capture the show. The atmosphere on the mall was as if the moon landing was happening that night.
