Happy #vanillaicecreamday My Sweet P, Presley can now look in the camera....full eye contact without being prompted to we even had a staring contest & she won!!! She is trying new foods all of the time! This is so important and may not seem like much to some, but we went years without any pictures of her beautiful eyes because she simply couldn’t look into a camera. She use to refuse to eat lots of things & is now such an adventurous eater. She had strawberry and almonds mixed into her ice cream 🍦 ! This is why early intervention & continued work to get children the help they need is so important! I see the differences in Presley every single day! It takes persistence & work not only in therapies but at home...this is worth all of it when I’m able to spend and capture special moments like this one. Thanks to everyone who is giving back to help make advancements in treatments for Autism & those organizations that provide valuable tools & services as well as all of those who are caregivers and parents who love, care & fight relentlessly to make this world a better and more understanding place for individuals on the spectrum.
