Abandon is a thriller/drama movie released in 2002 starring Katie Holmes, Charlie Hunnam and Benjamin Bratt. Katie plays a college senior under a lot of pressure that is increased when investigator, Benjamin Bratt, starts asking questions about her old boyfriend, played by Charlie, who disappeared 2 years ago and seems to be reappearing in Katie’s life. As the pressure begins to build, Katie slowly starts to lose her grip on reality.
This is a different type of role for Katie Holmes but I really liked this side of her! A great early 2000 thriller with a twisted Dawson’s Creek vibe 🤣 Definitely one to add to your playlist if you haven’t seen it yet.
