In my last post I discussed hiking to Grinnell Lake overlook trail before booking it back as the storm rolled through.. This image was taken the day after. My main goal for this trip to the east side was to capture wildflowers above Grinnell Lake. The first day was stormy, and I didn't quite get the composition or sunny weather I wanted.. Therefore, I went back to grab the composition I had originally imagined, the next day. I can be OCD like that.
It was a bright day mixed with some intermittent clouds-exactly what I needed. This has to be one of my favorite compositions to capture. On bright sunny days, when the sun is angled to light up the aqua waters of Grinnell Lake, the beauty is hard to beat. ——————————————————————————
