I am lucky to have the ocean within a few mins of driving along with living on 2.5 acres of land!
My property is filled with tropical palm trees and with those trees comes tons of wildlife.

On this hot Florida day our A/C unit completely died. This also happened to be a holiday. We were lucky to get a company to come out the same day and install a whole new unit.
Due to it being close to a 100 inside our house we preferred to be outside with the breeze. This is when I was lucky enough to see this owl! It’s baby had flown/fallen into another tree and the owl sat there keeping a close eye on it... I grabbed a ladder and my camera and started taking pictures.

What started as a miserable/expensive day turned into a rare sighting of an owl in my yard!
