This morning I surprised my two older kids with a week in Orlando at Disney World and Universal Orlando!

Not only are we celebrating my daughter’s first double-digit birthday, but we’re celebrating almost 5 months of kicking this deployment’s butt. Having a parent gone for nearly an entire year isn’t easy for anyone - but I have realized how much I depend on my bigger kids every single day. And they have stepped up to this challenge with me, and for that I am so thankful. We have become a powerhouse team - we’re by no means perfect, but we’ve got each other.

So this trip is a time for the ‘Bigs’! To ride on the big rides and skip the baby ones.....no strollers, diapers, or nap-time meltdowns (well, except maybe mine 🤣)!! Just me and my first two who made me a mama. Follow along with me in the parks this week in my stories!!
