Saturday night, we interred Jasper's ashes in an urn. We were lucky to find @paper_turtle on Etsy. Laura is a very talented ceramic artist, and was the perfect person to trust with the creation of Jasper's urn. We saw a photo of one she'd done and knew we wanted something like it-- the essence of his markings without it being a literal portrait. She did a beautiful job and we couldn't be happier! His urn will sit next to this picture frame that our friend @suemcg25 sent to us, so we have a constant reminder of our sweet boy. Seeing and handling Jasper's remains was a hard moment, but having an appropriate way to memorialize him is a blessing. Thank you Laura and Sue for bringing this together! .
