Jesus is the perfect example of an obedient and humble servant. In his word he also shows us that as a servant we must step away to service ourselves. Jesus would step away for 40 days at a time to service himself in meditation and prayer after healing and spreading the gospel.

Mediation is not sitting with an empty mind. Biblical meditation is remembering the Lord and his word in all his glory and wonderfulness. .
