Midsommar (2019) directed by Ari Aster - A group of friend + one of their troubled girlfriends travel to a Swedish midsummer festival where what seems like a paradise turns into a sinister nightmare as the locals reveal that they show their horrifying secret agenda. I personally enjoyed this film, although some disagree. It’s long and it runs a bit dry in some places but I would definitely watch it again. It’s a great movie if you’re into horror/suspenseful movies that are also trippy as hell. -
