A little girl wakes up inside her home alone after a pandemic takes the world by storm. She finds herself hiding from a spirit like creature that wants to take her away. Her parents come back home for us to find out why they left in the first place.
As I continue to clear out my Netflix list I realize I added almost all Blumhouse films and that’s not always a good thing. This was an “Into the Dark” film if any when it comes to storytelling. This is a ridiculously slow burner with almost literally nothing happening until 50 minutes into the film. The twist towards the ending wasn’t shocking or devastating for me and I felt like this was a pretty big waste of time but I’m glad I gave it a shot. Frank Grillo is also in this film but even he didn’t add much to the film. I would skip this one and if it's on your list just remove it.
I’d give this film a 2/10.
