I realized something this year.

If I intentionally treat me like a business- other people will automatically follow. ⠀⠀
I’m not kidding. Follow me on this- it’s not: have, do, be. It’s
BE
DO
HAVE. ⠀⠀
I learned that I don’t have to HAVE the successful business and then I will DO the things successful business people do and then I will finally BE fulfilled professionally. ⠀⠀
Thats👏🏼all👏🏼backwards👏🏼.

If you want that end result you first have to BE the person who would run a kick butt business, and then DO the things successful business owners do and then you will HAVE the end result last.

Changed my life you guys and I’m not exaggerating. I wanted to be a successful stylist so I thought like one. Instead of walking down this aimless path waiting for clients to magically cross in front of me and sit in my chair, I thought about what I knew a business owner would BE and DO and then I did those things.
⠀⠀
I changed the way I physically showed up for clients, dressing, talking, preparing, cleaning, addressing- I changed the surroundings and culture and vibe of my space- I created a website and Facebook page and got a ring light to take photos and post videos with no knowledge of any of those things. ⠀⠀
And the most amazing thing happened- when I started BEing the person I wanted to be, and DOing the things I needed to do, I now get to HAVE the thing I wanted to have. ⠀⠀
BE. DO. HAVE. ⠀⠀
