Growing up on a farm in North Dakota taught me the value of hard work. Morning and evening milkings, raking hay, baling hay, hauling hay, working cattle, gardening, canning...you get the picture. I often joke (but I am quite serious) that as a family we didn’t play, we just worked. Truth be told, I’m not very good at vacationing or relaxing. I enjoy working and I take special pride in growing my flowers from seed to harvest. Seeing that hard work come together in an arrangement or in a bridal bouquet...well that just makes my heart happy!
