☀️ We planted this heliopsis for the first time last year, under one of our apple trees, but we were underwhelmed by it. Clearly we weren’t patient enough because it has exploded this year to 3 feet tall covered in beautiful golden flowers with gorgeous mahogany centers.

🌱Summer Night, heliopsis helianthoides: Grows to 3’ tall with gorgeous golden flowers with mahogany centers beginning in midsummer for up to 2 months if deadheaded. Perennial. The tall sturdy wine red stems and glossy leaves make it great as a cut flower.
