between all the mountains and beaches, hikes and waves, ice creams and cliff bars, CrossFit WODs and exploratory runs, beautiful people I’ve met and friends I’ve made along the way - my single favorite thing about this trip so far may be watching the night sky while camping inside Joshua Tree NP. idk what it is about looking at the stars but for me it always puts everything into perspective. it makes me appreciate and be grateful for what I have, of which I most appreciate my family, my friends and my doggo. it makes me realize how privileged I am being able to live a life like this. it makes me feel so blessed and so much love that I wanna cry aka might have cried haha. I also saw two dolphins catching waves at the beach this morning. that may be my second favorite thing about this trip. I started reading ‘The Untethered Soul’ today, this may be my third favorite thing. TBC
