Nasi Kerabu (blue rice) is a wonderfully fragrant meal popular in Malaysia. The colour of the rice comes fun the Butterfly-Pea flowers that are cooked with it and it is traditionally served with fried chicken and other tasty accompaniments. Very tasty indeed!
- The most traditional Malaysian breakfast this morning, Nasi Lemak for our visitor @eaglesgyre .
- Kaya toast.
- Western breakfast with beef "bacon".
- A not so good Cendol drink.
- The yummiest little donuts ever!
- Traditional curry puffs.
- Coconut pancakes.
- Putu Piring, steamed rice flour cakes with palm sugar.
- Last but not least, Durian sticky rice! As stinky as it comes, but equally creamy and unique in flavour!
Can it tell we have a guest with us who we're trying to feed all of Malaysia's best food to?! 😂
