The third time that that child comes up to touch the hot plate, this time you shout, ‘DON'T TOUCH IT!’ .<br />.<br />.<br />With chronic pain, your nervous system says, ‘You are not f***** listening!’ and sends a big pain signal to try and get you to listen.
