Spotted this eland grazing on the slopes below the walk up to the lighthouse - my first sighting of this animal in Cape Point!
This magnificent animal can be found across South Africa, although never as common as other antelope that it shares the same habitat with. It is a spiral-horned antelope that is related to kudu, nyala and bushbuck.
