⭐️⭐️⭐️ // THE BOOKISH LIFE OF NINA HILL by abbi waxman was a cute, easy, light read. it featured a unique plot of a girl who loves being alone finding a whole family. i really loved the commentary on introversion + anxiety, but had a really hard time getting into the middle of the book. i also didn’t love the narration style - it was in omniscient third person, but wasn’t omniscient enough of didn’t carry out well throughout the book. also, there were too many character names that started with L and i know that’s a petty thing to say, but it made keeping up with characters hard. 💖 so overall, a cute, easy, light read - perfect for summer - but not one i would re-read.
