For the @rosebudtarot, I’m using a mix of more modern and historical images to create a sense of altered time & timelessness within the deck.⁠<br />⁠<br />Many of the source images are found vintage photographs and antique postcards. I’ll scan these in, and then edit the images into digital collages without physically chopping up the original photos.⁠<br />⁠<br />It’s super important to me that the subjects of the photos are highlighted in a way that emphasizes them as people, not objects. I keep this in mind as I search for source images, and that perspective influences how I then put together my collages.
