We first heard word that “Moana” was coming to Epcot this time last year, and now thankfully Disney officially announced today at the D23 Expo that “Journey Of Water, Inspired by Moana” will be a part of Disney World’s reimagining of Epcot’s Future World.
This will not be a ride as much as a walk through attraction with interactive areas focused on everyone’s favorite combination of hydrogen and oxygen. Think of the fun guests experience over at the jumping fountains over by Imagination, and turn up the flow ever so much!
Disney did not provide too much detail on this or any other Epcot plans, and we expect there will be tons more in the official Disney Parks Panel on the D23 Expo’s Sunday schedule.
