The @artofliving International Center was founded by Gurudev @srisriravishankar and they offer numerous educational and self-delveopment programs, including a happiness program which teaches students the art of being happy. With over 10,000 centers in 159 countries, Art of Living programs have touched 450 million lives.
During their trip to India as a part of the Modern vs. Historic India program through the @goindiainitiative , @uniofyork students were able to see modern and historic india come together at the Art of Living International Center.
While at the center, students enjoyed a introductory meditation session, a guided tour around the ashram, watching the Satsang, and finished off the day with a community Sattvic meal. The students were left amazed by the people, who come from many different walks of life, and how they are able to come together to create such a peaceful and beautiful community here.
