This month's spotlight is on @runningzoe . Read more about her below!<br />​<br />​<br />​🙋🏼‍♀️Hi there! I’m Zoe (23), a Swiss runner based in London🇨🇭🇬🇧. From an occasional runner, I took up running about a year ago, training for the @royalparkshalf and it now plays a big role in my life. I run because I love to feel the burn in my legs, because running makes me happy & full of energy, and because it makes me strong & resilient everyday. 🌟 . 🏃🏼‍♀️Currently focusing on 10K I now train ~5 times a week, despite working 10-12 hours a day. My training consists of interval training, long runs, speed sessions on the track, cross-training, some strength and running with @nbrcldn for an extra push and amazing smiles 🤗 (fav brand is obviously @newbalanceuk 👟💙) . 👊🏼Running with people turns out to be amazing & very empowering - whether it’s for tough training, a race, or just a casual run. I find the running community truly inspiring, open & kind. If you haven’t yet, find a run club or a bunch of friends to go for a run with and you will see for yourself! . 🤓When I’m asked how I manage my training being so busy, I realise combining running, work & everything else turns out to be not that difficult! Be organised, plan ahead & set achievable goals, be committed and dedicated & do it with love ❤️ Find out why you like to run & enjoy every step of the process! 🌿 . 💡Finally, a quick tip to get those early runs in: prepare your gear the night before & plan to run with a friend so you can’t hit that snooze button! 🙈
