Let’s be real.... Trade schools don’t always get the love they deserve! College isn’t the road for everyone but that isn’t always accepted so easily. If you talk to most people who are hair stylists, I bet their road to success wasn’t always easy!⠀

“Oh, you do hair? I’d love to play with hair all day and get paid for it” Very common saying when I tell people what I do. I get it. It’s for sure a common misconception of this job. But just like with any job, you get out of it what you put into it! ⠀

However, what’s different about my job is I can’t stop learning, or bettering myself. When you finish cosmetology school, that’s just the beginning of the learning! Here at @privesalonandstylebar we take pride in our continuing education and continue to advance learning from top educators in the country! ⠀

If a loved one or even yourself are considering a future in cosmetology (or any trade) TAKE A RISK! Trust me when I say I know it’s scary, I went to college before i realized it just wasn’t for me. My support system really encouraged me to do what I thought was right for me! and boy did it pay off 🙌🏻Im so proud to be able to be a part of this amazing industry where I get to make people feel beautiful 🌟
