If you’ve ever heard your Eavestroughs rattling in the wind💨 or had them come close too or even completely rip off due to weight😱the hanger placement may look like this. 2’5” spacing between hangers is just asking for trouble🤦♂️
As most things in the construction world, standard spacing for hangers is typically 16”, especially for long pieces that may deal with extra weight, or pieces exposed to high winds. You can stretch this out a bit, but NEVER go over 24”. Personally, I love my hangers to be at that 18”-20” mark 👍
