There is pros and cons to a dog being fixated on anything you can throw. Pro, all I have to do is pick something up and she will turn into this really well behaved dog because I can basically hypnotise her into doing whatever I want.
Con. If I do not throw anything for her (because I want to save her back legs) she will make it her mission to find the closest person to her, go inbetween their legs, drop a stone, shimmy back, lie down and wait until they throw it. Sorry to the people that are wearing the nice light clothes (or school uniform. That has happened) and a sopping wet dog has just stuck their head between your legs. Sorry to the people that wet there pants because a whopping great big German Shepherd has ran over to befriended you and is again, trying to go inbetween your legs. And I feel sorry for myself for having to dive in the way and run across the field to drag my dog back to the car because she finally found someone that loves chucking whatever it maybe for her. ~
