Tonight I went to a talk at Missouri Department of Conservationās Powder Valley Nature Center on Northern Copperheads. This was an educational lecture about research done onsite searching for copperheads. I know many people fear these snakes but if you keep your distance and stay on trails you will likely never see one let alone get bitten by one- plus their venom is less lethal than rattlesnakes! So beware of snakes outside but give them their space and everyone can go along safely! .
